Relay for Life raised £2.4million in 2015 – with Aylesbury and 42 other events raising the money for Cancer Research UK.
The total raised was announced at the Relay Summit this month – attended by Aylesbury event chair Paula Kirby and team captains Lucie di Zenobia (La Dolce Vita) and Lisa Slater (Breastfriends).
Relay for Life Aylesbury raised £108,538.46, the second year running the event has broken the £100,000 barrier.
