What is a Candle of Hope?
A Candle of Hope is a heartfelt tribute—a simple yet powerful symbol of love, remembrance, and hope. Each candle, placed inside a bag filled with sand, is beautifully decorated and dedicated to:
- Remembering someone lost to cancer
- Honoring someone on their cancer journey
- Celebrating a cancer survivor
These candles are lit before the Candle of Hope Ceremony begins and burn through the night, illuminating the path for Relay participants and inspiring us all to keep moving forward.
