Aylesbury Sea Cadets. Team Captain Ron Hale

The Aylesbury Sea Cadets team consists of adult staff and cadets, aged 10 to 18. The Team Captain is Ron Hale from the Unit Committee who, over the past two years, has lost close family members to cancer and has a cousin who is a cancer survivor.

Aylesbury Youth Action. Team Captain Rebecca Acres

Aylesbury Youth Action is a youth volunteering charity which helps young people aged 14- 25 get involved with a wide range of activities across the Aylesbury Vale district. This is our second year taking part in Relay and we hope to continue for many more.

Edwina’s Angels. Team Captain Ashlee Carter

Edwina’s Angels are taking part in Relay for Life Aylesbury as they believe CRUK is a great cause. The Team Captain’s Nan, Edwina, was unfortunately taken too soon and they are her angels raising awareness in her memory. Edwina’s Angels are all friends and family.

Hovernauts. Team Captain Makyla Devlin

Hovernauts is a team of individuals who either race light hovercraft, or officiate across the UK and Europe. Our team members are cancer survivors, and family members of someone who has survived, passed away or is currently going through treatment. We are based all around the UK and have completed two relays in Aylesbury. So many people were interested in taking part in Relay that we have created a second team, The Hovercrosses (above). For more information about hovercraft racing see

Space Cadets is a team of friends, family and work colleagues linked to Enterprise Marketing Solutions in Aylesbury who have all lost people to cancer or have loved ones living with cancer. We are all looking forward to the day when cancer will be a thing of the past. See for more details.

The 4 Js: Jane, Josie, Janet and Jo are four friends and family who have all been touched by cancer in one way or another. They are looking forward to having a lot of fun while raising funds for the brilliant life-saving work of CRUK in this, their first Relay.
