Each year the Committee give out awards for the Spirit of Relay, a little something which acknowledges the hard work and effort our teams put in which ultimately results in a fantastic event. It also encourages a little healthy competition and, after all, we all love a bit of dressing up!
This year, awards will be given for the best outfits and creativity for the following laps:
- Sun Smart
- Bras & Boxers
- Healthy Living
- Depict a Book
- Back to Front
- Disco / 1980s
- Round the World in 60 Minutes
- Recycled Outfit
- Best team outfit
There will also be awards for:
- The best sandcastle
- The best Air guitar performance (during the 1980s lap)
- The best team stall / tent
- Top fundraiser (total amount raised & collected by 10am on the Sunday morning)
And finally, the main Spirit of Relay award will be given to the person or team who has invested a lot of time and effort into Relay for Life Aylesbury 2012. This isn’t necessarily the person or team who has raised the most money, but rather it acknowledges and thanks the person or team who has worked hard to make the whole experience a fantastic one.
